The United Minority Contractors of North Carolina is a
non-profit
trade association representing the interests and concerns of
minority contractors. Newly formed in January 2006, our 23 Founding
Members represent businesses from across the state.
Headquartered in Raleigh, our purpose is to enhance minority
contractor business capacity, development and foster positive
business relationships through leadership and advocacy for North
Carolina’s minority construction community.
Our Goals:
- Promote membership and more business opportunities.
- Seek relationships with major firms, public agencies, public
entities and construction industry affiliates.
- Become the state chapter to the National Association of
Minority Contractors.
- Advocate reduction of construction industry process and
participation barriers.
- Promote education and training.
- Become a forum for sharing information.
